Guaranteed Safety

Safety is the number one priority for us and we do everything in our power to guarantee the complete safety of all people, machinery and equipment involved in the project. Our attention to detail when it comes to this has meant that we have not made a single insurance claim since our establishment back in 2001. We work hard to ensure that this statistic remains unchanged.

Before any project, we carry out a thorough risk assessment to identify potential hazards. This then informs our team how to avoid these risks to carry out an incident-free relocation, with all staff and units fully protected during the course of the project.

With an ever-changing landscape we stay on top of current trends and statistics to ensure that we are ready to provide the best possible service, both now and in the future.

Our machinery movers team works with a number of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. This includes crane lorries, both with and without drawbar, step frame low loaders and curtain sided lorries. All of our personnel are fully equipped, trained and insured to operate them. On top of that, all vehicles and equipment are regularly tested and inspected. Copies of relevant certificates can be found inside of the vehicles, along with first aid kits and fire extinguishers.

Complimentary Site Visit

When it comes to heavy machinery relocation, proper planning is crucial in ensuring a successful outcome. Frequently Asked Questions

A machinery relocation service involves safely moving industrial equipment from one location to another. This typically includes planning the move, dismantling machinery if required, lifting and transporting the equipment, and positioning it correctly at the new location.

At Emcon Services, every relocation project begins with a site assessment so we can understand the size, weight and layout of the machinery, along with any access restrictions. This allows us to plan the safest and most efficient way to move the equipment while minimising disruption to your operations.

Yes. We regularly relocate large industrial machinery between factories, warehouses and manufacturing sites. Whether it is a single piece of equipment or multiple machines forming part of a production line, our engineers have the experience and specialist equipment required.

Using forklifts, crane vehicles and professional rigging techniques, we can safely move heavy machinery and position it accurately within the new facility.

Yes. In addition to moving individual machines, we can also assist with full factory relocations. This can include dismantling production lines, transporting machinery to the new location, and reinstalling the equipment so it is ready for use.

Planning is essential for large projects like this. We work closely with clients to ensure machinery is moved safely while reducing downtime as much as possible.

Safety is the most important part of any machinery relocation project. Before work begins, we carry out a detailed risk assessment and site survey to identify potential hazards and determine the safest lifting method.

Our engineers use specialist rigging equipment and lifting machinery designed specifically for heavy industrial loads. This ensures both the machinery and the surrounding environment are protected during the move.

The time required for machinery relocation depends on several factors, including the size and weight of the equipment, the distance it needs to be moved, and whether it needs to be dismantled before transport.

Some smaller projects can be completed within a few hours, while larger factory relocation projects may take several days. After assessing the machinery and site conditions, we can provide a realistic timeframe for the project.

The cost of machinery relocation varies depending on factors such as the size and weight of the equipment, the complexity of the move, the distance between locations, and the equipment required to complete the job.

For example, relocating a single machine within the same building will typically cost far less than moving multiple machines between factories. Following a site assessment, we can provide a clear and accurate quotation based on the specific requirements of your project.

Yes. Industrial machinery is often extremely heavy and delicate, which means it should only be moved by experienced professionals with the correct lifting equipment.

Attempting to move machinery without the right expertise can lead to damage, injury or costly downtime. A specialist machinery relocation company ensures the move is carried out safely and efficiently.

We can relocate a wide range of industrial machinery used in manufacturing and engineering environments. This includes large production machines, packaging equipment, engineering machinery, printing equipment and other heavy industrial units.

If you are unsure whether your machinery can be relocated, our team can assess the equipment and recommend the safest approach.

Yes. Machinery relocation is not always about moving equipment between sites. Many businesses need machinery repositioned within the same factory or warehouse to improve workflow, install new equipment or reorganise production areas.

Even when machinery is only being moved a short distance, specialist lifting equipment is often required to ensure the move is carried out safely.

Moving heavy machinery requires specialist lifting and transport equipment. Depending on the project, we may use forklift trucks, crane vehicles, lifting gantries, skates, jacks and other professional rigging equipment.

The equipment used will depend on the size, weight and location of the machinery, as well as access restrictions within the building.

Yes. Some machinery needs to be partially dismantled before it can be safely moved. This may involve removing components, separating sections of a production line or preparing the machine for transport.

Our engineers can dismantle machinery where required and ensure all components are safely transported and reassembled at the new location.

Some downtime is usually unavoidable when relocating machinery, but careful planning can reduce the impact significantly.

By assessing the site and planning the move in advance, we can schedule the work efficiently and complete the relocation as quickly and safely as possible.

Yes. Professional machinery relocation services are fully insured to provide peace of mind when moving valuable equipment.

Insurance cover helps protect against potential risks during the relocation process, ensuring both the machinery and the site are safeguarded.

Yes. We provide machinery relocation services across the UK and can assist businesses moving equipment between different cities, factories or warehouses.

Whether the move is local or long distance, we can plan and manage the relocation to ensure machinery arrives safely at its new location.
